OMG! I can't believe myself! After all this time I looked in where you put the soap on my front end loader and would you believe what I found? It says "Up for powder and down for liquid". You would have thought I was a true blonde. I LMAO when I read that because all this time I have been melting my soap in my little jar in the kitchen in the house and then have to take out to the garage where my washer is!!!

I do believe that deserves a "Here's you sign" !!!!

Maryjane, check out what you inspired! Look under nifty thrifty and see the milk box to soap box. You have started a trend from your really cute little pink soap box.

Ah okay, thanks!

I've used both and I love it! The batch I am using now has both. Just make sure it equals to approx. 16 oz. of bar soap. Good luck!

Do I use the Zote and the Fels? It might be pretty with pink and yellow, but I dont want to overdo it, either.

I finally have all my ingredients and I am just looking for a tub.

Hey Girls, Guess what grocery store I saw and actually went in? Piggly Wiggly. I was at the coast camping in NC, and they still have Piggly Wiggly stores. I love it!
I wish I had read this thread before I went, I could have looked for pink Zote!!!

That is a great price Lisa! I pay 99 cent each for mine. And yes, they are huge! When I use Zote with my recipe, I use 1 1/3 bars. I love it to because it smells so clean!

Diane
Zote is a western US soap(based in Mexico). I could not find it here either, so I finally gave in & ordered some from Lehmans. I think it was $2.75 for 3 bars, but the bars are HUGE!!! One bar of Zote equals 3 of Kurts Castile. I like them both, but this is a nice change. Neat scent too. Kinda citronella.. Of course I also ordered some Amish made corn brooms & other stuff too. Could not resist. Love Lehman's!

I can't find it either...It's not at Wal-mart or Wegmans or the dollar stores. But I will keep looking. I still have plenty of white homemade soap. I love it but I do want to try the pink..........

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

My Wal-Mart doesn't carry it. I found it at City Market which is Kroger's or King Soopers

If your Walmart has it, it is always in the laundry section...laundry detergent, softener, etc. Sometimes when I go they are out of it. Good Luck Beverly!

Ohh! I just saw your post MaryJane. They are Samsung. I got the bigger ones since I needed it for washing the horse blankets and and leg wraps and our comforters and such. I got a really good deal on them. Sears had them on sale the day after Thanksgiving and I got both for a 1000.00. They are usually that much a piece. Maybe they will have them on sale again this year if you can hold out a little while longer. They are really nice. I actually enjoy doing laundry. I don't have a laundry room. They are in my garage which is not attached to the house. So it is a chore. But with my new set and my new laundry soap I am actually enjoying it.

Maryjane, I love my front end loaders. I got mine right after Thanksgiving last year. They are so quiet you can't even tell they are running. I can even wash my horse blankets in them. Can't wait to try my laundry soap on them.
