~~  ~~ Well, it's finally happened!! -- I hauled off and got a new computer!! -- it's been something of a learning experience, and the new "critter" is something else, let me tell you!! It's probably going to take me awhile to learn all the bells and whistles on this but its so worth all the learnin'!!
I had a time getting my email to work from the dinosaur I used for all these past years, but that got worked out, and now i feel like I'm back in the world!!
I've missed everybody!! -- but now can get caught up on all the news and goodies that's been goin on -- an we even had a quiet july 4th -- 'course all the neighbors made up for it with their gazillion fireworks, but that's how it goes!!

Alee -- I gotta say, the speed of this new computer is just amazing!! -- And it almost makes me cry when I think of all the time I wasted, sitting and waiting for that old Thang we used to have..sometimes up to 45 minutes, to load a page. One Page!!

Welcome back Lauri!!! I just got a new computer a few months ago and they sure are nice now! I still get amazed at how much faster it is!

thanx marcy!! -- le' me tell you -- it's sort of funny about all the advances that computer makers have done over the years, and just about the same time that bought this computer, my oldest danny, bought a new desktop too. Only he didn't buy the same model I did, and once he came down here and played with it, he really got sad -- he said, "Now I wish I would have bought this model!" --
Danny also said that it will be a while before I get all the new things figured out, and the good thing is that they aren't as difficult to learn like the programs were just a few years ago. Guess people got tired of trying to jump thru hoops just to work on computer "help" programs!
