LOL, you are one of the funniest people I've never even met! And you're a lot like me...a house has to be PRISTINE before I'll live in it!! I'm so glad you arrived safely, I thought of you the other day while on facebook.
I think I bartered with someone here who lives in Clarksville....

Thanks all. The great thing about unpacking is as I find something I don't want, it goes out to GOODWILL. It is pretty here. Not used to trees and hills but the cooler weather is a nice break from 106. : O I am really trying to keep it simple here. Unfortunately, Scott is a bit of a pack rat with electronics and useless items. I have to be careful what I purge...shhhhh!!!

Yes, I think I am about 2 hours from Ms. Wilma. So far, I am just trying to figure out my way to the base, hospital, Wally World, Target, gas and the best grocery store.

The problem is we walked in and the place was not cleaned...and it was, to me, FILTHY...but the rental people said it just need a wipe down. Ummmm...mold and mildew in and under the fridge is filth and then there were 1000's of flies. So, I have been cleaning BEFORE we could move our stuff in. So gross!!!! I can't believe people live like that. No wonder military people get a bad rap for being pigs. OINK OINK!!!

Wow, Heatehr, you're pretty close to me now. I'll have to look on the map and see. I'm just below Chatt. Are ya'll moved in yet? I can't wait to hear about your new home. I think you'll like it there. Except there are no beaches.

Welcome back, Heather! What a long journey. I lived in Clarksville, Tenn about 34 years ago. I was nine at the time. It's beautiful there! My younger brother was born there, too! Glad you made it safely and I hope you get settled in real soon.
Take care
