I try to keep flowers on my kitchen table all summer long. Anyone else do this? It just makes me feel good, and with a doily and a vase of flowers, it looks good! Right now my roses are blooming like crazy, along with my baby's breath. A perfect combination.

My favorite floral display is queen annes lace in a blue mason jar on top of an old doily.

Beautiful Mary Beth! I love the combination :)

I used to be a Floral designer so I LOVE having fresh flowers in my home. Anything from herbs and wildflowers on the kitchen table to tiny pitchers filled with violets in the bath or a single wild rose in a mason jar :) I love bringing the outdoors in :)

I love flowers in the house too. Not too many this year as I have been rearranging gardens outside. Spent a time at my Daughters in Eastern Washington and she and her MIL have beautiful gardens and my Daughter always has flowers in the house. Here is a bouquet she cut while I was ther and put in her bathroom.
There are Shasta Daisy, Astilbe, Coral Bells and Hosta leaves. Neat huh? MB

Oh, me, too! Me, too! From whatever's blooming on the side of the road to an arrangement of pretty branches, I'm constantly bringing the outdoors in!

I love fresh cut flowers whether they be from a florist's shoppe or from a garden. They make me smile.

Yep, hubby loves to cut flowers and bring them in. Right now, we have a big white pitcher filled with white daisies....which we put on a navy tablecloth for the 4th.

Me, too, Michele. I love them. I stopped awhile ago on the way home to get some black-eyed-susans and queen anne's lace off the side of the road but they looked too dry. I had some a few weeks ago that I just threw out. They last forever. It does make a house look pretty and clean when there are some flowers around.

Sounds beautiful Michele! I have a vase filled with daylilies that my youngest son picked for me. I love having fresh flowers in the house all year long. They always make me happy!
