First I would like to say sorry to Rene' for not getting our picture together!!
Next, as you see these pictures, I would like to tell you all that I'm only 5'4 1/2" tall w/o the hat. These pictures make me look tall, but it must be an optical illusion.
Last, I wish you ALL could have been there at Farm Fair,it was lovely. My DD and I drove up (about 2 1/2 hr drive) just to spend a few hours and meet "Mr. MaryJane" he is such a nice man, Mary Jane -a delightful woman, and a few of "the girls" from here.

Pictures of some of the vendor tents at Farm Fair.

The Old Mill MJ bought in Oaksdale.

Michelle aka Huckelberrywine and me.

Me and Alee.

Me and Sherri aka Mikesgirl.

MJ's grandbaby, Mary Jane, and me.

MJ's grandbaby, Mary Jane, and my DD.

I didn't post a picture of Mary Jane's husband because the only picture I got of him was while he was giving the tour of the old mill and it didn't turn out flattering for him.

My DD and I did stop at some antique shops in Palouse and I got a 3 gal crock for $20(I negotiated the price from the original $25 they wanted) so I can make sauerkraut for DH like his mother used to.

Also I just wanted to add one more thing.....while in one of the antique shops I heard the woman who worked talking to an older woman who had been at farm fair....the older woman said "I've never heard of Mary Jane until just recently, she really had a lot of people at that farm fair". The clerk said "yeah, she's like the Martha Stewart of the farming community, she has a big following".
I just smiled and thought, you have no idea, and she's way better than Martha Stewart in my opinion.

It was a wonderful time and I think my daughter was surprised that she had a good time and that Mary Jane wanted to take a picture with her also. My daughter is bashful when she meets people, unless of course you get her talking about our goats. Then you can't hardly stop her.

My only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer and meet more of you.

Hey! Thanks so much for posting pics - I've been trolling all over the site looking for more, but the descriptions by everyone are so vivid, more photos aren't really necessary. What a wonderful event.

Those pictures are so great! We're not short, we're old-fashioned sized. Lol. When did everyone else get so tall? Anywho, love the pictures and boy, everyone does look super-happy. And why not? It was a great day of visiting and all. Not a frowny face anywhere. :) It was great to meet you!
