Isn't it wonderful to have so many things in nature to bring out the beauty in the worse of situations.
Just lately when I have been at our new home ; with hubby.
Looking out at the beauty of the mountains
Yes there are houses around and a housing devolpment close to us
We are still on land of our own and with 2 brothers of my hubby's
Also another brother.
There are 5 boys in hubby's family
they youngest is retarted and in a really nice home there are 4 other men near his age
His home is in the country too and is really pretty.
anyways.
I am finding a special felling in my heart .
You know
We have a big front porch.
I want to get some rocking chairs and a bench to put out there.
Hubby is going to build a swing.
I am sorta afraid to sit in it; because I can just see it falling with me in it and that wouldn't be a good thing for me or the swing. Ha.
anyways
I guess I am rambling on .
but,
It will be nice to get out of this old city back in the country
Where I grew up it was all mountain and hills mostly
Where we had our 4 room cabin.
It was what they called " back in the Howller !!"
You couldn't get any more country than that.
Our "Home place" is right next to the Jefferson forest.
It is still there.
I haven't been back since my dear Daddy died around 6 years now.
that seems so odd to say
I still miss him.
He and his parents ; my Mom's parents
(Mom is still living) are buried at this country white Methodist church high on a high over looking the prettiest farm land
I always visioned myself being married there in that church.
In fact I almost was.
But, the year I was a senior I found out the guy that lived there was seeing other girls
I thought well; if he is doing that now; he will when we are married.
a few months after that I met my hubby to be
Same first name.
and to beat all he live jut over the hill ( so to speak)
Not very far from where we lived.
We have been married 34 years now.
Here I am rambling again.
Any hows,
The Beauty of Nature.
Be it the country ; city or the beach( which I love)
or in the back yard
I think that if you listen close enough to the sounds of nature you can find yourself and true being
Sometimes,
We are not still enough ; or take the time just to be by ourselves and to "Be with Nature:"
I hope you all have gotten something from my rambling !!hugs sheila

I know exactly how you feel and what you are trying to explain Sheila. I feel the very same way about nature. Be it the forest or the lake or the meadow. I find my truest peace and calm there.
I am so happy for you that soon you will be back there full time. You know Sheila I really feel that you will find your health improving and your strength returning with your return to nature.

Wow, Sheila. When I feel a little cooped up I'm going to re-read your "rambling."
BTW, to me it reads like a lovely poem. ;)

Sheila:
I enjoyed your "rambling", as you put it. Nice post.
