Posted - Jul 03 2009 : 12:30:01 PM Okay, this might get booted off, and I might get called down for it; but I had to share what was in my heart today. I went down to the farm today. Hubby and I had to get some cheap pull down shades( I wanted that kind in my bedroom and master bath; I am going to have curtains there anyways) Any hows. being down there ; looking at the mountains I came home and went to you tube started playing some of my favorites and I happened to see the song I can only imagine well as most of you know I have many diseases and conditions and have been under a lot of stress what with the getting ready to move and every thing. when listening to this song. It just touched my heart spiritually and lifted my spirits . Being that close to nature seeing the beauty in the mountains and the nice cool morning. Seeing the beauty in the big puffy white clouds. I could just feel my heart being lifted from the stress; yes I know I will still have it; but for one day; one moment it really touched me. And then I saw where I had Don't worry be happy. I have a tendency to carry the burdens and not giving them to the One that they should go to. So, here I am today sharing what is in my heart and really lifted my spirits. I am thinking it is going to be wonderful being in the mountains again we are now ; but we are in the city. When you are stress ; it seems nothing lifts the spirits like nature and of course other ways you might find yourself be lifted from stress. I hope I haven't offend anyone ; I just had to share the beauty of it and how it really touched me. Remember the song "Don't worry be happy" Now if I can only remember that LOl hugs sheila

Posted - Jul 04 2009 : 12:44:10 PM Sheila, as I was reading what you wrote I just got the best feeling and cold chills all over. Just thinking about what that song is saying is enough to make a person shout. I love it. We can only imagine right now, but one day... And if He has made this home here so awesome what will it be like in His home He has made for us? Sometimes I just long to see it.
When is your big move? I thought you would be in by now.
Hugs, Kris

Posted - Jul 03 2009 : 12:49:59 PM Diane Listening to birds is helpful too. I love to hear the morning dove calling at the farm you often hear them We have a small creek running through our farm. Often we get wild geese and ducks stopping for water and a rest you can hear them honking and talking ; wonderful. I can't wait to finally get back in the country !!hug sheila

Posted - Jul 03 2009 : 12:40:05 PM Sheila, anyone that would be offended by your post needs to "not worry and be happy"!!! I totally agree with you that being surrounded by the beauty of nature is one of the best stress-busters there is. I feel sorry for those that can't take the time to enjoy it. This morning I listened to a little song sparrow sing his heart out while I went out in the warm morning sun to open greenhouses and let out the chickens, with my lab buddy Lily at my side. Life just doesn't get much better and I feel so blessed to be able to live the way I do. I hope you continue to have a wonderful day! Di

Posted - Jul 03 2009 : 12:37:13 PM Sheila, that is my all time favorite song! Have you ever listened to THIS version??

IMO It is even better than the Mercy Me version, but that is only MY opinion. I can play this song over and over again. Sing along and feel better
