I couldn't wait to pick up my knitting needles this afternoon after my MaryJane magazine arrived. Check out pages 88 and 89. Don't you just love 'em??? I collect very large, very old vintage buttons and now I will be able to use them on the slippers...

I am going to expand my knitting horizons and try them too. They sure are cute! So far I can only knit scarves and shawls, we'll see :)

It is sure a cute pattern. I can't wait to make some. I am in embroidery mode right now..but I will have the needles back out soon and that will be one of my first project.

My first pair of knitted slippers are done!!
How sweet! and such fun! I used vintage buttons on the slippers. Adorable! Now everyone in the house wants their very own.

Thank you MaryJane for the article in this edition the magazine. I learned something new!

I didn't get my MJF magazine yet. Maybe tomorrow! I will check the knitted slippers as soon as I get the magazine.
