Thanks to the girls who have been praying for me and my house hunting. I looked at 11 houses yesterday and put an offer on one, the offer was excepted and I am so excited!!!! The closing is the end of July. It is a 1940 craftsman wanna-be. It is darling. 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, 1200 plus square feet, full attic, partially finished. Lots of hollyhocks, roses, hydranga, feverfew... it is so perfect! The yard is small, still need to see if I can have chickens in town, but room enough for my grandson! So, again, thanks for the prayers! God is good!

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

SHerri, you come and we will have tea and fresh scones! Would love it.

Lizabeth, I love the colors too! I don't have to do anything major to the house, just move in. My daughter will probably want to paint her room, the blue one, but I will at least for now keep the others. The pink one will be my craft room.

I love the raised beds as well. I will make them bigger. In the picture it was hard to see, the fence behind the raised beds angles in to the carport. I will straighten the fence which will give me a bit more yard space, plus more privacy.

It is strange buying a house without my hubby, doing this on my own, but it will be an adventure and I know it will be all good in the end.

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

Congratulations Julia! What an adorable house! I hope the neighborhood is good, too. I know shelton pretty well, and if you need any help I have family in that area.

I love the colors they had painted the rooms :) And a raised bed for vegetables already!
