Posted - Jun 22 2009 : 07:29:08 AM I am so frustrated. I am looking for a wind up watch and noone makes them anymore! The battery watches only last a couple of months on my wrist and I am tired of spending money to replace the batteries.
I am not looking for the moon. Just an old fashioned wind up Timex type wristwatch that is water resistant and kind of sturdy. Sometimes I hate this new technology!

Posted - Jun 22 2009 : 09:15:46 AM They have these cool new ones that self wind by the your own movement. I think they are called kinetic watches. Hope you find a good wind up one. Have you called a jewelry/watch repair service in your area? They might have one that someone brought in to be repaired but was never picked up or they could point you in the right direction?

Posted - Jun 22 2009 : 07:45:41 AM Patsy I will keep an eye out for you. My husband looks at watches all the time. He might be able to find one for you. Do you want a more practical one or one more on the girly side?
