Check out what I found at Goodwill yesterday...on my blog. Not a bad day, I even spotted another sewing machine and beautiful cabinet for $35 for Katmom. She says she is on restriction! lol

What a nice object to collect.. My sister in law has about 6 of them. I'm pretty sure that 2 are working and the other are for parts. But she says they never break down. She has never used an electric sewing machine, I think she's 46 yo.

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Wow, Teresa, wish I had been there to see that mixer! I would have outbid you! lol I am still looking for one. Daughter, friend and I are doing a garage sale this weekend. Really they are and I am bringing a few items and my crocheted dishcloths. Wish you were all around here to check it out. Four family.

Thrift stores, flea markets , garage sales and Yes, peoples trash ( is another persons treasure), are my favorite places to scrounge. I have picked-up amazing finds for little or no money. I got a solid oak quilt frame, in perfect condition from a yard sale a few years back, a grandma had passed, and her kids and grandkids did'nt know what it was, nor did they care, I paid $3.00 for it. I have found hand-made dolls for as little as 50 cents, old kitchen gadgets ( which I collect) for pennies. I got a kitchenaid stand mixer with all the attachments and bowls from the late 40s in the original box in perfect working order for $2.00. I love "thrifting"
