I have to stay off that site (Etsy). It's just toooooo overwhelming all the incredible things there are. If had spent all day, everyday for a week I don't think I could even delve into the stuff that's available.

For Father's Day, I bought Justin a pair of handmade sterling cufflinks from a seller and they are sooo beautiful. One is going to read, "Seven lb. One oz. Stunner" (as he referred to our daughter in every telephone call, email, voicemail message when she was born) and the other, "Violet Mae loves Daddy" and after paying for them, it was like I couldn't stop looking around at the stuff. And then I looked more, and more, and more.

And this morning, the first thing I wanted to do was look again.

I think I need an intervention!

Thank you, Karin..I know he will love them. He wears a set of cuff links that belonged to his Great Uncle when we go out for dinners and special occasions. It gives him a chance to tidy up :)

I too should not be indulging, but it's Pop's day, and I wanted to do something special...especially since for his "special dinner" he's requested my adobo pulled pork barbecue...I was thinking something a little more fancy :)

I hope the hollyhocks will be alright, too...they just looked kindof...sad, this morning when I left the house. They were sooo perfectly straight and tall and I was so amazed at how they'd grown! Almost up over the eaves of the cottage!

What a lovely thing for Justin's first Father's Day. i too love cruising around etsy, so any incredible creations. I can look with abandon since I am not able to indulge at the moment. I love to see the variety of wonderful stuff. Much more soothing than trying to get to local shops in all this rain. I hope your hollyhocks will be okay, I'm pretty sure if you stake them, they will be fine. Hollyhocks are just so lovely.

You don't need an intervention, you just need to win the lottery! Etsy is just great and such talent, just blows my mind. ( I suppose that saying dates me, sorta' like 'sock it to me'!) lol
