I took this picture off my back porch after the thunderstorm cleared out. I thought it was really beautiful and wanted to share it with everyone.

That's a different Elk. The Elk I live in is about 30 miles north of Spokane between Spokane and Newport about 8 miles west of Hwy 2.

Truly beautiful.
I posted my yesterdays sunset on my 'smallcityscenes' blog. These nights have been beautiful.

Is Elk by Elk Heights or is that a different Elk? MB

I really like Elk. I have been here now for almost 30 years. The land varies depending on where you are. I am pretty lucky as my land is pretty flat and I have good water. There have been a lot of new folks moving in the past couple of years so it isn't quite as "folksy small town" as it used to be but folks around here still rally around in times of need.

That is nice. I see lots of acreage in Elk, WA for good prices. What is the land like? How do you like it?
