In the April/May issue of MaryJane Farm, was the most wonderful article about Sisters on the Fly, a group of which I have been a member of for nearly 4 years....
I hosted the Spokane River "Glamping" event and both MaryJane & Rene joined us in the festivities....
Yes, our very own MaryJane camped in her sweet little Teardrop with her yummy organic linens....But the best part was that MaryJane discovered one of our SOTF ladies had a trailer much like the one MaryJane's family used when she was a child. What a wonderful trip down memory lane as she shared with us about her family trailer.
You really have to see these trailers in person to fully appreciate them...some are still diamonds in the rough(like mine) and others are Glamorous itty bitty palaces on wheels while others just express their quirkiness.
One of the ladies is a Dairy Farmers wife and she is passionate about fly fishing sooo, her trailer is dubbed "Moo Fly"...
So when you get a chance go take a peek into my gracies victorian trailer blog (listed below)...
Thank you MaryJane & Rene for coming out to play with us & Thank you for such a wonderful article.

sister hugz,

I love the 'picture' you painted of just a one day get away, I would sure love one with my trailer right now. Well, not in the condition it's in but....
Sorry I have not been by, working on rental and broken ridding mower! Fixed one expensive part and now it's something else. Misc. stuff at the rental today, should find time to come over this weekend. Thanks.

Thank Gosh & Greyhound for digital cameras!!!!!
I luv b-4's & Afters....it really helps to encourage others and as I always say, "Show No Fear!"...
I encourage ladies to get together, be it with a formal womens group like Sisters on the Fly, or just a few good friends.....sometimes getting away even for just an afternoon, sitting on a bench watching the river run by allows one to 'breath' and best of all to day dream..my favorite past time!.
Always take time to breath.

I have a large piece of property also, if anyone would need another place to stay. Let them all know, Grace, round them up and corral them over here if they like.

Oh Michele, besides the big events that are posted on the SOTF main page, there are lots of smaller gatherings going on all the time. We even have gals in the UK and Canada. Texas & Calif. are the largest groups. In fact next years main "Giddy-Up will be the state of LA but I don't remember if it will be Baton Rouge or New Orleans....
As a member you have access to the chats/forum that only members can see (for safety & privacy of the gals)and that is how we find out about all the smaller events like the one Tammy & I hosted here in WA.
I'll peek in later and let ya know what is currently going on around your area.
oh & I forgot to send you a picture with my last email so I'll go back & do that right now...
hugz,

Will these campilicious rollin' blasts from the past be parading down Farm fair?
We LOVE LOVE LOVE the pics in the mag; It would be so unreal to see them in motion. Sisters on the Fly truly inspire (I have never fished and have the desire purely from that article).
Y'all are too cool.
Kudos.

I had the most amazing time. There is nothing like being in the great outdoors with a bunch of girlfriends solving (or not) the worlds problems. Well if truth be told, my mind was 100% in vacation mode.. I was in heaven. Grace is right, the trailers are amazing. I fell in love with Graces little scotty and now I just have to have me one.. although, MJ's tear drop is about as perfect as it gets. The weekend was just what I needed as I head into the home stretch of planning a great weekend Buggy, Barter and Boogie (ing) down the palouse.
