LOL!! I understand For me, I would not trade this for anything!! I would rather a short growing season and be "right here" for all of the other outdoor activities that I love. .. including all our snow.

I feel the same way....I sooo want to move somewhere with a longer growing season! I love the MTNs though and I do enjoy the snow...I just wish i could plant earlier! That's why I think OR would be perfect for me....warmer in general but great skiing and snowboarding a short drive away!

Isn't it amazing how everything explodes all at once?!! You go from bleak to peak in a matter of days!! It has been warmer, 39 at night, so it is looking promising for planting by the 15th. Keeping my fingers crossed!!

Beautiful pictures, yes we who live in the northern climes are privileged to see the wonders of the woods and all that Mother Nature has to offer, some times it seems like we wait forever, and then spring finally explodes! All my trees save the locust are fully leafed out today.
