Saturday, we took the children to the zoo and then over to the lighthouse. Tori loves the beach and is very much a water baby. Levi calls the ocean "Yucky water" and doesn't care to so much as look at it.
We all had a nice picnic once we walked the zoo. :D
On Sunday, we took a break and spent the day doing a whole lot of nothing..hehe...everyone needs one of these days every once in a while.
Then Monday, CR had off for the holiday. We headed over to the new house to do some Spring cleaning. The yard mostly, but I was able to get the kitchen things unpacked and the walls and cupboards washed down.
The woman who lived there before smoked in the house and it left an orange film over everything. Since I have such sensitive allergies, I have to clean pretty well. :D
I took pictures of some of the work I did in the babies' room. Its not finished yet, but as ideas pop into my head, I will work on it little by little.
I also posted pics of the outside and the things we did out there. There is still mulching to do for the finishing touches so it all looks neat and clean, but as mulch is a pretty frivolity rather than a necessity right now, we have to do it all in due time. :) I just love the red cedar mulch. :P
The pics are posted over on my blog. Love for you to stop by and take a visit. :)

What a great weekend ya'll had. I love all the pictures. And I am totally with your little Levi on the yucky water. I don't like it either. I like going to the beach but don't like the yucky water at all. My hubby and I had one of our worst fights right after I had our first child. We went to the beach with my parents and my hubby tried to throw me in. That was the wrong thing to do. Especially when I had on a dress!

How is the house coming along? It looks so cute with all your paintings. Good job! How much longer to move in?

Hi Nancy Jo,
Well, until CR finds a full time job (Still praying for that :D) we won't be able to move in. But I figure its a good chance to get the house cleaned, repaired, and painted just how we want it until then. It is 20 minutes from here. So, we won't be too far away from my Mom, once we move. :)
I love painting, but don't really get much of a chance to unless its something like on the walls..lol The bigger the mess I can make the better. :)
Thanks for taking a peek over there. Sure was a busy but lots of fun kinda weekend! :D

Gee jess, you can paint. I did mention before how nice my stick people drawings are didn't I ? I never could draw a darn thing. Always amazed when I see what some of you talented girls can do.
When are you moving? And how far is the new place from where you are now? I'm a lot confused. Not unusual. Sounds like you guys got alot done over the weekend. Cute pictures of all of you.
