I spent all this week working in the yard and garden. I love being outside. My yard and garden shows that I have devoted all week to them. So... I came in the house a little while ago and it looks like I have spent the week outside.lol!! This time of year I would rather be in the yard than in here but... I know what I will be doing this week. Does anyone else have this problem??

I love a clean house, but I love it outside more! How can you just stay inside when it is so sunny and warm and happy looking outside? Besides, summer is so short, we can't afford to a waste a minute of it!

Tina- My husband does the same thing. Sometimes my house gets so crazy! You would think I have two toddlers instead of one!

I am in great company. Today it is raining here, but am I cleaning house? No--- I am working on VBS stuff. I think some of the problem in my dear dear husband. Man is he messy!!!! I think he just doesn't think about who picks up the house. I am going to see how long his dirty cloths he wore yesterday stays beside the hamper. Not in the hamper mind you beside it. I love him dearly but oh my goodness!!!

My house is always a mess when I am trying to work outside. This time of year, I am out most of the time. My house is the cleanest in mid summer when it is 100 degrees outside every afternoon. I have to get my outside work done before 10:00am. I have the rest of the day to do housework and wish it was cooler outside.

Ha ha!

I'm right there w/ you!

Our kitchen is too small for entertaining, so once it starts to warm up, we have all kinds of people over.....outside of course!

And we live on a dirt road that gets scraped by DOT a few times a year. That always kicks up the dust, moreso for the ppl who drive like bats outta h!@# up and down the road on their 4 wheelers and trucks. Our house is in the middle, so we get it all. And the road is a dead end, so we get it twice!

I gave up on hanging out laundry to dry years ago.

Same here. When the weather is nice, who wants to stay in and do dishes, laundry and vacuuming? NOT ME!!! Oh, and dusting? I'd rather clean the toilet with a toothbrush! I do try to keep it fairly decent. On weekend mornings, when it's only in the 40's, I can get some stuff done inside until it hits 50 degrees. But, I now have a new plan...if the house is perpetually messed up during the summer...get more outside chairs and place in the shade. When company comes, keep them outside!

Yesterday after having Nora's Cousins here for most of the day it looked like they had brought the outside in! There was dried mud everywhere! I had to run the vacuum twice before I could see my floor again! LOL

I have the same problem. I love being outside and would rather spend time there then cleaning inside. It always amazes me how fast the dust accumulates in my house!

Same here, too. At my house, when I'm outside there is no one inside! Where does the mess come from? Ack.

Oh my gosh Tina- You just described my house when I am outside working all the time! I am glad I am not the only one that has that happen! Somehow I need to balance everything out but I am still working on a system!

Yes,I sure do here. Its mostly on the weekends. We tear through the house and kind of use it as a restaurant and hotel. Then come Monday morning when I look around, It looks like a tornado blew through...well, maybe not that bad, but maybe a small tsunami :)

It does give me something to do during the week. Maybe if we'd make just a little bit bigger mess, I would not run out of things to do come Wednesday...lol

hugs...you are NOT alone! :D
