I do doubt sometimes..I do get anxious and insecure. It all comes as part of the packaging called "julia"...I'm totally going over to the other thread right now...I'm drooling over the cornbread with the rest of our meal. DEEEELISH!!!!

Oh, Julia, same sniffles here! I am feeling quite "motherly" since Friday night. Go on over to the Garden Gates posts and read of my Friday night experience under the "OMG..." thread and you'll understand why.

You're "single voice" communicated quite effectively to me the first time I "met" you and Aria in your article featured in the magazine and on here. Do not doubt for a second the power and clarity of your words!

And, honey, you can drop by any old time and I'll fry you up some chicken and bake up a pan of cornbread to go with those tomatoes and cabbage!

*sniff* *sniff*..totally choked me up Cherry. What a completely sweet thing to say!
Is this normal is indeed such a powerful question.
Inspiration..to be inspiring...I'm completely overwhelmed by that statement. I'm flattered but at the same time, I'm...I'm...I'm..I'm not quite sure how to put it into words.. To be inspiring in another's eyes is a little unnerving. I see myself as someone who is facing a fire and I am but one of many in a long collaborative chain of people passing buckets of water. No one person stands out. Everyone's contribution is equally inspiring because the focus is so narrow and clear.

I am a single voice echoing the voices of many. I think I have not done a good enough job acknowledging those voices. You have given me something great to think about today...THANK YOU!!!

Could I come over and eat tomatoes and cabbage some day? Oh, wouldn't that be grand!!

sending so much love, ~julia

Ya'll are so sweet! Thank you so much!

Julia, I think you have a most wonderful book idea. I believe it would help so many Mama's out there. When you find yourself living a life like yours, it can be a lonely place sometimes. And you question what you're feeling and thinking and wonder "is this normal?" I think you'd be a great inspiration to so many. (I know you've inspired me!) A great comfort, too.

Hey all!! Cherry, I've just starting blogging too! Mine is a much more intense format however. I have just started posting things I have written about my daughter Aria and our journey through the valleys and peaks of leukemia. My intention is to put my writing, which is in the form of emails into a book someday. I thought it would be interesting for anyone interested to read about the very early details of this journey. I haven't posted any of the early early stuff yet, but I will...It gives the very detailed 'inside look' into what cancer is all about...check it out sometime....

I loved your blog...the garden pictures had me drooling for summer cabbage and tomatoes!!!

Marybeth, your blogs are inspiring! I need to post pictures as I go...I'm so new that I really have no idea what I'm doing so any encouragement you have, would be GREATLY appreciated!

blessings and have fun!! ~julia

Cherry, What a great blog and a beautiful garden! I tried to comment, but I guess since I don't have a blog I can't comment there, so I am here.

Belle, it was really simple and thank you so very much!

Jessie, do ya'll have Academy Sports? They have fabulous rainboots! My baby girl has a black pair with white polka-dots. She wore them on the beach last year and was cute as a bug! Target has cute ones, too. And thank you for your sweet words!

Cherry, loved your blogspot. I love pics of any and all gardens. One of these days I'll get "tech-savvy" so I can show everyone my gardens. Right now I am too busy getting my gardens to look good enough to live with let alone take it's picture.
