Posted - May 14 2009 : 4:32:04 PM Well dear friends........ one month until my daughter Katie graduates from high school. I'm starting to get VERY anxious. I have happy and sad emotions wrapped up inside of me! I have sent out invites for her open house, most of the food is bought and decorations are ready. I really just want to sit down and look at all of her pictures and cry like a BIG baby. Hopefully I can get "it" together before June 14th! Wish me luck! xoxo-Lori

Posted - May 18 2009 : 08:11:45 AM Well we worked on Katie's slide-video show this weekend and I "bawled" through it- trying to figure out which pictures and songs go best where. How come all the songs I picked out are sappy? We are getting closer and closer! Graduation caps will be flying thru the air soon!! xoxo-Lori

Posted - May 14 2009 : 5:24:42 PM I have 3 daughters- Missy is 22, Katie is 17 and Natalie is 12- three cats and my mini doxie- Jack. Katie is going to college close to home so we will see each other often. I think it is just that these precious girls have grown so fast! "Most" of the time they are wonderful- we have had some bumps, but I love them dearly!! It is very hard letting go and cutting the apron strings! xoxo-Lori

Posted - May 14 2009 : 4:59:00 PM Oh, Lori, I feel you heart-pain! My baby girl wraps up her Junior year this may and begins her Senior year come August. I am already in that "last year" mindset! She plans to go to a local college and stay at home, but still.....that's my BABY! Is Katie your only?

Posted - May 14 2009 : 4:38:29 PM I was glad when my sons graduated from high school. I thought they would happily go on their adult way of life. Justin did 4 years of college and was home every week-end. Jason did 6 years or more of college. I moved away from home, he's still their. Congratulations I'm sure you raised a beautiful daughter who will always be your pride and joy.
