Posted - May 14 2009 : 11:29:43 AM Alright sisters, this was a HUGE step for me.
Here's the deal. After some gentle urging from some talented and experienced people, I decided to go ahead and create a blog about Aria so I could see whether or not there was an 'audience' for the kind of thing I'm writing. Many of you have read my posts and have followed Aria's story very closely. I'm completely indebted and would encourage you to continue reading about her/me/us on my blog. I write a lot more often via email to a number of people than I do here on the forum. The blog will be more like my emails detailing every clinic appointment and doctor's visit and so forth. I can't encourage you enough to pass along my blog address to anyone who you think might be interested in her story. I'm especially interested in reaching out to those who are dealing with similar experiences, although I'm fascinated by how many people have been touched by Aria despite knowing nothing about pediatric cancer.
The main drive behind all this new madness is I'm taking the first real serious step toward compiling my writing into a book someday.
Let me know what you think and wish me luck. I'll need it!! ~julia you can find me at www.about-aria.blogspot.com

Posted - May 14 2009 : 1:59:57 PM I am blessed to know nothing of pediatric cancer. But I think you have a beautiful family and I pray that Aria will get better soon. I am amazed at your strength. I know if I had to do it I would, just like you, give 110% to family. I know I would have pulled my hair out and my stomach would be a mess. I'm sure you have had your days but you and your family are handeling every thing so well,I think your Blog will help a lot of people and I will read it because I care about you and your family. I try to write once a week on mine but my life is busy and boring so there's not a lot to write. Best of luck to you.
Hope all your days are Sunnydays. dianebcarterhotmailcom.blogspot.com |

Posted - May 14 2009 : 1:27:47 PM Hey there Ruth!!
Things are going pretty well for Farm Fair! Yeah!! I think I'm done sewing clothes for little girls even though I still have several dress to make that are waiting to be sewn. I just won't have time to finish them. I'm shifting gears a little so I can make some skirts for us grown-up girls and I'm trying to finish napkin sets and other less pricey items!!
thanks for the vote of encouragement. I feel a little like I've jumped on a train and don't quite know where it's going and whose driving!! WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!
Sending love to you and do let me know what you think. I'm so open to color and format changes..really any thing that stands out to you, I'd really like to know!! ~julia
