Ok, sisters. I know you all worry about me taking care of myself...We moms do tend to put ourselves on the bottom of the list but let me assure you that I try hard not to. I've discovered that I'm not someone who finds going to have a massage all that helpful. Nor am I much of a shopper. I don't even enjoy taking a stroll in the park...The deal is, I like being home with my kids.. I like strolling in the park with them. I like them around me and being away from them is a good and bad thing. I steal plenty of time for my sewing and my writing so I feel really pretty good. I have a very enchanted life. I'm so blessed.

Today, however, I treated myself to something completely decadent!! My girls were napping a little while ago and so I took a piping hot bubble bath AND ate a bowl of chocolate icecream while soaking!! I can't remember the last time I ever got a chance to do something like that. I got all pruney and chocolated-out!

I'm clean and sweet and just had to share..~julia

Julia, now that's my idea of cleaning out the freezer. Glad you thought of it. Those mini-vacations are the best!

Alee, you're the epitomy of a modern day farmgirl reading a computer in the bathtub! I laughed at that one...just the mental picture, ya know?

Jonni, ice cream and a herb foot soak sounds perfect too. It's how it makes you feel that matters right? I sometimes call pulling weeds in the garden a thinking vacation!

I love downloading a book onto my computer and I sit in the tub and read the book. I figured out the perfect system to keep my laptop from getting wet... Pushing space bar turns the page, so I get a long handled wooden spoon and use that to push the button! LOL

What a fabulous idea! And here I thought I was decadent last week when I sat on the edge of the bath and soaked my feet in a rosemary/lavender soak with a bowl of vanilla ice cream and crumbled reece's cups!

You go, Julia--you really needed to feel that carefree!
