Posted - May 06 2009 : 6:06:10 PM I think this rain is bringing out the ants in my pants. I cant seem to find anything that I want to do. I have sewing patterns, crochet patterns, embroidery patterns, half started blankets and quilts...yet, I cant seem to find anything that interests me to do.I don't really want to sit still, but I dont want to go out and do anything either. anyone else got "antsy" pants? hmm...lol..sure wish the sun would come out and chase these ants away! :P
hugs

Posted - May 07 2009 : 05:47:22 AM I aways thought ants in your pants made you unable to sit still that you had to do something..When it's raining out I like to bake cookies and give a few to the neighbors, and today it's raining I also hope pack up somethings for goodwill. Jessie, you may need to just sit and relax today. Every person needs just one day every now and then to do what they want to do. If thats just sitting go ahead and sit and don't feel guilty. Enjoy your day.
Hope all your days are Sunnydays. dianebcarterhotmailcom.blogspot.com |

Posted - May 06 2009 : 8:29:45 PM I think it is mercury in retrograde. Things get wacky, people get antsy. Never heard of it? http://astrology.about.com/od/advancedastrology/p/MercuryRetro.htm Too strange, I just saw an ant! Rosemary

Posted - May 06 2009 : 8:20:26 PM I guess I don't have ants in my pants. I made 3 reusable shopping bags. I love making those things. Got some cards ready to mail. Played with goat kids. Caught a few chick escapees. Cleaned a little.
I do have ants in my house, though. Kansas found a few stragglers that must have already been in before I sprinkled cinnamon all over. They did not see it and were having fun on my coffee table. Not any more, little buggars.
I hope the sun comes out for you tomorrow, Jessie. You need a break anyway, girl, as much as you do. It's still raining here tonight.

Posted - May 06 2009 : 6:20:22 PM I felt that way too, yesterday! It's raining here in Washington State but I just decided to go out there with my boots and raincoat and messed around with the horses, cats, and chickens anyway! I even planted a few herbs! (Pictures of animals on my blog). I was soaked but I drowned the ants...LOL
