I thought it would be fun to start a thread as we lead up to mother's day to share Mother's Day stories either your experiences as moms, or memories of your mom being mom, or Just women who mothered you in a meaningful way....

Personally, I believe all women are "mothers". It is just our nature to nurture.........

My Mom is the best mom I could ever wish for. She not only raised three kids in a happy, safe environment teaching us how to love nature, be independent, respect one another and follow our dreams, she was one tough farmgirl herself. She was raised on a farm where the main income was from a peach orchard and learned how to cook, sew, garden, can, and just be a wonderful mother! Mom was hugely responsible for all my arty-crafty-creative genes I got from her. Happy Mothers Day to all the wonderful moms out there!
