What is your favorite thing to do on rainy days?
I would like to say mine is sitting snuggled in with a good book, but truly it isn't.
I love to play in it. To look at the sky and feel the raindrops fall on my face. I like going for good long walks in it and getting thoroughly drenched!
When my now DH and I were dating, it was one of our favorite things to do. We would go for walks in the rain or runs or jumps or whatever..lol
After the sun came out and before the puddles dried up, he'd go with me and we'd splash and jump in the puddles until our new set of clothes were soaked through too. There is no better feeling that squishy wet mud between my toes and trees sprinkling you when you walk underneath them because they are so heavy!

What do you like to do on rainy days? :)

Alee! I need to see if I can find y'all rain walkers a pair of those rubber boots with frogs and ladybug faces that they make for kids!!!!!!! Me? I like to bake or work on my weaving. I get so little time to sit at my loom, that some days, I pray for rain!!!!!

I may take to dog and go walk in the woods. Sometimes all the trees keep it drier than an umbrella. A warm summer rain is nice for picking blackberries too, then going home and taking an even warmer shower.

Bake or cook

Diddle on the computer

or, find an old movie that hasn't been watched in some time and watch it

This weekend was filled with rainy days but I wasn't feeling too well. I just slept and watched tv some. I'm like the others, it's so much fun and intoxicating to go out in a summer rain and right after with all the scents. If it's cool and rainy I like to sit by a window and watch it. Also love to read and listen to music during those times.

Charlie and I like to sit in the garage and watch in come down. Once it stops, we like to go for a bike ride and he LOVES to rush through the puddles. Plus, all the worms and things come out, so he looks at those. : )

Sharon--I think that is romantic too!! Hubby disagrees of course, but he's a guy so he doesn't see romance the same way I do...lol

I love rainy days :) For me it is grabbing a specialty coffee drink to go and scouting the Antique stores with my honey. To me, that's romantic :)

I also love to bake and curl up with a quilt and watch an old classic B&W movie w/my honey

Rainy days, and snowy days, are perfect for going out to the shop, makeing a fire in the woodstove and building the bases that I do my paintings on. I don't feel like I'm loosing a good sunny day. And it's nice to take my time getting to the shop with that extra cup of coffee, and hanging out in bed, emailing friends, looking at MJ forums and listening to Tonto purring beside me.

I'd have to agree with Alee. If it has been really hot the smell of a summer storm on dry dirt and sage is intoxicating, you can't help wanting to soak it in. If it is cold, there is nothing better then being inside, wood stove going, and either reading or baking.

P.S. I love your screen name Jessie

If it has been really hot, then I like to go outside in the rain. If it is cold and the rain is cold then I stay inside. I love reading books and really wish we had a fire place!
