Bruce will be one of seven to return to work on Monday at his company. On Friday afternoon the boss cut 2/3'rds of the workers on the floor. This has never happened at his company. It's a family owned business and Bruce has been there for over 10-years.

First I was cut due to restructuring at my clinic 1 year ago on the 1st of May and now the uncertainty of whether or not Bruce will have a job next week... I don't know if I can take anymore of this.

We don't have much of a savings left and are living week to week like I am sure most of the country is. Michigan has over 12% unemployment and we don't even live near the automobile factories. We are way the heck in the Northwoods of the UP...alone and forgotten by the rest of the State of Michigan.

I am very worried and have a knot in my stomach just thinking about the future of my family.

Thank you sisters for letting me cry on your shoulder once again

Hi Melody,
I haven't forgotten about you even if I am a troll.
I know what you mean about week to week, I'm in the same boat. Hang in there and keep praying.

Melody - you are in my thoughts and prayers today. This is such a time of uncertainty - just know that you always have a whole bunch of apron-covered shoulders to lean on!!
