Posted - Apr 24 2009 : 06:37:51 AM It was once believed (and I still do!) believe the moon, luna, affects peoples moods. Is anyone feeling silly, more creative, grouchy, crazy today?

Posted - Apr 24 2009 : 4:12:58 PM I worked for the mentally challenged for many years and when I see a full moon now I'm thankful I'm retired. It seemed as it effected the women more than the men but it definately effects people.

Posted - Apr 24 2009 : 2:04:18 PM I definately plant my garden by the signs. If the ground is ready, if it is not too wet, too cold, if I have time, Then the sign is right. I really need to be setting out my tomato plants but the wind is blowing 25-30 mph. They wouldn't last till sundown. The sign is NOT right today.
I have found that the humidity or pressure just before a storm has a lot to do with grouchyness. |

The almanac givea all sorts of advice from planting seeds to best day to make sauerkraut, or go camping, which is today! check out: http://www.freereindesigns.com/is_it_time_to_wean.htm

Posted - Apr 24 2009 : 11:32:12 AM Both my husband and I have been cranky and moody earlier today and yesterday. So I guess we are feeling it. Usually I'm looney feeling around the full moon.

Posted - Apr 24 2009 : 11:24:43 AM >> The Husband nearly drives me nutz...The Dog goes into overdrive and acts like a 2-year old...and I constantly want to run away.
That's what a full moon does around here. >> So can I blame my skittish memory on the new moon?? Can't hurt, right?? LOL!! But seriously, the moon's phases really do have a big impact on us -- always has. I've tried to plant a garden by the different moon phases, but it hasn't really seemed to make that much difference. Anybody plant according to the moon's phases?? Could be something for me to consider again.
