Hey Gals- DH and I are getting ready to seriously start our search for more land. We have decided to start here in Oregon and hope to stay here. What I am hoping for here is to get some local newspapers from some of the places that interest us. We are looking in the Eastern half and the southern area (including the southern coast) of Oregon. I will send you a prepaid envelope and money to cover the cost of the paper if you are willing to send me a paper. You can send me an email or respond here. Thanks a bunch.

Lillian

Hey there...I just posted in my other post that my hubs and I have heard of land that up for back taxes, really cheap, but the permit process is very expensive, not to mention maddening. So the final cost of building, even sitting a 5th wheel on your land is permitted. Be sure to check out the laws and codes thoroughly before committing. Maybe going with a real estate person may be the way to go, be cheaper in the long run.

We found several houses for rent and a lot are for sale in the southern OR area.

Winona ;-)
