I have some friends that live just 20 miles from me on a lake. This weekend my daughter and I went and stayed in their guest cabin. Oh was it gorgeous. To get to their beautiful home, you have to take a boat. As you drive up the very windy road, you honk at a certian point and they drive the boat across the lake to get you.

We had tea on the porch and watched the sun set, later we all played a game and then headed for bed. They had the wood stove warming the place up for us. We could look out the window and see the stars and here the spring peepers.

In the morning as I was in the shower my friend bought down fresh, warm blueberry muffins. I made some coffe and sat on the porch of the cabin and watched the fog lift off the lake. We then walked up to the big house, had breakfast and then left for church.

After lunch my friend and I planned our trip to Farm Fair. Then the 3 kids, my friends hubby and I went zip-lining. Yep, he built a 2 cable zip-line up the hill from their house. It was a blast!!!

Then we sat and watched the sun begining to wane and then boated across the lake to go home. It was an amazing time, no phones, no tv, no computer. So, what did you do this weekend?

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

Katie, I did have a great time, I didn't want to come home.

Sharilyn, I'm jealous of you having your niece and nephew over. I have lived so far from family that I have never been able to do that. I will be moving to where family is and look forward to being in the family loop.

For tomorrow and its needs I do not pray, but keep me, guide me, love me, Lord just for today.

I got to have my niece and nephew over for the weekend- i don't get to see them often enough.

Sounds like you had a beautiful weekend. I spent most of mine doing homework!
