Since I am graduating in August, I am applying for an Outstanding Student award through a professional organization in the State of Texas. While my GPA is a little lower than what they want, I think my essay, education and experience background will get me a look see. I would really like to get this as it will be wonderful when looking for a J O B!!! And, it just feels good to be honored. So wish me luck!!!
