Do you all know about Pandora radio?

My son told me about it and I really love it. It's a free site where you enter the genre or artist of music you love and they create a custom radio station for you that only plays music similar to the artist and genre that you enter. For example, I entered "Nickel Creek" and I got a radio station that plays continuous blue grassy type music. You can delete any songs you don't like and they will never play those again. It's free - an advertising sponsored site - and I just turn it on, minimize it and have great blue grass playing all day for free, while I sew, talk to my MJ friends, do housework, whatever. Try AccuRadio as well same type of thing. They're GRRREAT!

My daughter told me about it a few months ago because I was seriously needing some background noise after she left for college. Radio reception is the pits here and I don't have tv. I love Pandora! I have created several stations that I just click on the one I want to suit my mood.

It was so funny - Cody was telling me about it and he said "It's really cool Mom, you just put in a name of a group - well, in your case, John Denver, - and they will build a playlist for you." My poor kids - all I ever played when they were growing up was John Denver - they think that's all I know, even today! (I do admit, I built a Nickel Creek station AND a John Denver station!)
