Posted - Mar 25 2009 : 04:33:27 AM What a neat find! Hemp as a crop was mentioned. I love hemp cereal. They stock it at Whole Foods and Trader Joe's.
I also read about planting Indian corn. It said to mix 3 bushels of wood ash with 1 bushel of plaster of Paris. Mix together, plant corn, and dropping as much as will lay on a clam shell on top of seed corn. I never heard of using plaster of Paris.
Very interesting reading.
