Kathy from 'ENCHANTED WOODS" wanted to see some of my books. So here are just a few of them. Maybe give you a few ideas on something good to read. Well except for the first picture, these are my VERY old old books. They fall apart if you just whisper near them.

Those are beautiful. You have the nicest blog. I was going to tell you a couple of days ago when you posted about it, I absolutely LOVE the picture of your Grandmother in 1914. What a dear treasure that one is. The amish picture is great too. I am also intrigued by the Tasha handmade gifts book. I have all the others but that one is new to me. Pardon while I drool!

Anyway, GORGEOUS picture of your Grandma and the horse. I can just feel the day it was taken by looking at it.

I love books. I have so many and a few old ones that were here when we bought the house. The family was going to throw them away but I asked to keep them.

I especially love the Tasha Tudor books.

Carol,
All the ones in the first picture are mid to late 1800's.

Love the books Nancy Jo, a lot of them I have. I just keep hoping that sometime I will get time to read them, usually I read while traveling. I have a problem when I start reading I dont quit until I get it done. Sometimes I will read all night, that makes a droopy day for me come morning

Great collection.......
Which one is the oldest and what's the publishing date?
Aren't I just so nosey? but I love old books.
I always try to imagine how many people or what type of people
have been inside the pages. I'm sure they left some
energy there.
