I just have to brag,,,
I had a lovely afternoon today with some Wonderful MJF girlfriends....I posted about our get-together on my blog...
After having such a LONG-COLD Snowy Dreary Winter, I really needed a girlfirend fix and these ladies were such a delight.
I am so greatful to the MJF Forum that allowed me to connect with them and all the other wonderful ladies that I have made friends with & chat with.
Taking early retirement, and moving out of state, away from all that I was use to, was a bit daunting, but the MJF forum helped with that transition...from the first day when the Hub's & I pulled into the driveway of our new home and there on the door step was a wonderful banner & vase of lavender, welcoming us(hugz & Thank-you, Carol Sue & Theresa) to meeting up for lunches and antiquing etc.,with more MJF girls, to a re-treat @ MJ's homestead, to some halarious evening get togethers for sewing & wine to just a simple afternoon of coffee...Thank you Thank you Thank you.
It's hard to get a group of gals together with all of our busy schedules...I think JoAnn said it best..."It's like trying to heard a bunch of cats"...lol! and it is!...but when we do manage to get together, it's so very good for the soul.
hugz to you all!

Karen, I'm not too far up the road From Mt.Lake T. Marysville just a little north of Everett!
Maybe this summer when you happen to be around that area we can have lunch somewhere in between!

Grace.. Aren't farmgirl sisters wonderful.. We are all grateful to have found those kindered spirits that remind us of the power of women. Life is Good when you have the strength of other women pushing, pulling, and hugging you along the journey!
Thank you Mary Jane For Opening your heart and following your vision, It has led the way for me..

Gracie!! I just wanted you to know that this afternoon after coming home from clinic I noticed the little bundle of lavender you left me so long ago. There it was in one of the vases finally able to peak out from under a layer of snowy-ice! It was so sweet...Thank you!!!

spring is coming...spring is coming..Are you still working at that nursery? Are the greenhouses filling up????

It was a real breath of fresh air! I loved meeting a new farmgal, Sher, and seeing Amanda and Suzi again.
Carol, it will be fun when you are 'back home' and we can all gather together, would love to meet you. I have family on the coast so that should be easy.

Hey all,
there is plenty of room for more MJF gals, so come on over to this side of the country!!! The more the merrier.
Judy, I am keeping my fingers, eyes, & legs crossed for you...hope your exam went well....
Carol, I'm thinking when you get back to the "homestead" we'll have to try to figure out away to meet 1/2 way & shop till we drop!
MaryJane Lee, I Miss You....oh & Peek-a-boo & miss beasley said to send you their greetings and to let you know they are enjoying their nap times in your "room"....lol!
It's great to get together be it with just 1 farmgal or a whole pascel of ladies....
I had coffee with a couple of MJF gals, just a nice relaxing evening...no phones, no kids, no hubbies just girlfriend bonding.
Never miss out on a chance to get together with your friends....

Almost makes me want to move to Washington. Thank-God Nancy Jo lives near me in New York. I will agree the MJFGirls are the best. I thank Nancy for sharing this site with me. The only down fall is I could sit here and read all day. MJFgirls think of some real good things to say and do. Love this site

Hope all your days are Sunnydays.

Wah! I didn't get to join you! I was taking a civil service test on Wednesday, so I guess that was where I was supposed to be.
GRace, I LOVE the hanger cover you made -it is so darling that I think I am going to have to try and copy it.
I'm looking forward to getting together at Karen's. FarmGirl Hugs, Judy

That sounds great! I am going to be spreading the word about MJF pretty soon here after my final exams at school. I am working on getting a chapter alive and kicking in my area. I would love to have get-togethers with farmgirls!
