Posted - Mar 06 2009 : 02:38:13 AM Well now Daugherty's song will have new meaning to me---coming back to the U.S.A. from India......thought sure I would stay here in India for good---or at least a few years....not yet....will return to Massachusetts the end of March....and am happy with that decision. I know the winter is a rough one.....1 foot of snow the other day.....but there truly is no place like home. Despite the small house......the high cost of food, etc.........it will be good to get home and wait for spring. ..right now in New Delhi its just starting to get HOT.......the garden is at its peak......maybe a variety of 15 different flowers---just beautiful......I like the fragrant orange blossoms, sweet peas, freezia, and jasmine best.
Talk to you gal friends soon.......and remember Sunday is Women'sDay---or is that just here? Celebrate anyway. Beverly Gill![](icons/icon_smile.gif) |

![](icons/icon_smile_cool.gif) I am excited to be getting back to the states----BUT its only for 6 months....and thats absolutely fine---gives me a chance to do my gardening in the states. Did I tell you that the roses I planted here 2 years ago bloomed into the smallest beautiful about 20 petal orange roses......very small---1 inch. So now when I go back to the states hopefully winter is almost over...hopefully. Take it easy gal friends. Beverly |

Posted - Mar 06 2009 : 11:25:31 AM Welcome home. I don't think I ever got the understanding as to why you went to India in the first place. Dorothy said it best: "There's no place like home."
