Posted - Mar 02 2009 : 08:49:14 AM YES!!!!!! The pretty, lovely, "antique" wedding dress!!!!! Lol, 2 winners, so gonna make a cute thing for you both. LOL might take a while, but they WILL come.
Yes I have adored that dress since the first time I saw it, lol. Their asking price at that time was "too much" well not really but just didn't have the money, duh. But last Sunday I saw it again, and told her, oké what is your price now? She asked me what she had said last time, so told her a lower price ofcourse, lol. Then she said, it's yours for.............$20, 00 (twenty dollars) all included, purse if she has it, little hat, cape and gloves!! YAY!!!! That was even less then I told her what she said last time, lol. ME BAD YAY!!! SO me gonna get it this week, because she wanted to sell it to me with all the trimmings. Now I have to find a dress form small enough, because it is MY size. Who knows, someday......... :D

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 11:18:51 PM It's the wedding dress and all the trimmings. What a great shop. I could have gotten into some serious trouble in there!

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 10:15:07 PM LOL Cathy, haha. Yes I was very tempted on the cape, maybe this weekend. They are only open Friday, Saturday and Sunday afternoon. It is their hobby, so they don't need it really. But the lady LOVES to go to England to the shows there and always comes back loaded. Read my clues again, and who knows. It IS easier now, lol.
PS I SO hope she has a good "sale" table this weekend so I can buy a few of my NEEDS, uh wants lol

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 10:04:52 PM Oh you lucky lady - to live so close to an antique store. It's beautiful - I would be there everyday. And of all the wonderful things you shared - I'd say that pretty pink cape is in your "pink" home. Have fun shopping. Blessings, Cathy

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 9:59:21 PM AAAHHH NOBODY????? I will give another clue, a good one this time. It is off white, with pearls and a little jacket too, plus she has other things she needs to find.
I will not use it, but would have loved wearing it, years ago! Something you might not expect me buying anymore, lol. It was worn around the 50's I guess.
Now this made it easier. The first one to guess gets the prize!!

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 6:55:20 PM wow, so many great things... I love the cape, pitcher and dressform, but since you said it's none of those things, I'd guess maybe the old teddy on the daybed? oh, and love the pillow and quilt hanging on the daybed! thanks for sharing!

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 6:33:04 PM Hey Dutchy, I couldn't see all the pictures, but what I did see was great. I would love to go to that store. I went to one the other day and I know I was there at least 3 hours. I lookes at every little thing in there.
So of the pictures I saw, I'd have to say the pretty white milk glass bowl.
But I hope you came home with lots of stuff!

Posted - Mar 01 2009 : 2:55:51 PM Hey Marian,
I just checked out your blog, it's lovely :)
Looking at the photos, my guess would be the thing that I first noticed. It was in the first photo: The galvanized "basket" on top of the barrel behind the table & chair set. So many lovely things, it's hard to choose :)
