Girls ,
I am so tired; I can't put one foot in front of the other.
We have more stuff gone.
Mom said,"You keep throwing stuff out; you aren't going to have anything left" Lol
But,
Really , what one can acculmate.
I am really proud of myself.
I didn't think I could get rid of what I did
With Hubby and son fussing ; I guess I just got tired of hearing them fuss. Ha.
Need more cheering on.
We have the walls put in
the floors are going in
we have the paint picked out
Hubby and brother-in-law are going to paint the walls.
So,
We should be able to get in ; in maybe late April?
Hopefully
I will be so glad
While I am thankful for this old house and it being payed for.
I Will be glad and grateful have a new home to live in
Hubby and I have never had a really nice home before.
Been married 34 years this June.
so, we are both looking forward to it.
I hope son will take a few pictures I can share on my blog.
He is so un predictable with things like that. hugs sheila

That is wonderful!

I am a horrible packrat as well so I can totally sympathize. When we moved from Idaho to Montana I was pretty ruthless with getting rid of things. I honestly can say that I only regretted getting rid of two things- A rocking chair and a bookcase. I miss the bookcase because we have no storage and haven't replaced it yet, and the rocking chair was REALLY comfy!

Congratulations on decluttering!! I was looking around the house the other day and thinking "Boy, there is too much to take care of around here" and then I realized that I am "owned" by my stuff. Half the stuff in my house I don't even like. So I am on the bandwagon too and will be starting the big decluttering this week. Thanks for the inspiration!

Sheila- big (((HUGS)))!!! You are doing great. I remember, just about a year ago, my home looked like it had blown up while we were trying to get through stuff or rather should I say, little ole ME was going through the stuff. You will get there and think how calm and wonderful your home will be. Keep us posted and yes, post some pics when you get a chance!!! : )
