Posted - Feb 24 2009 : 4:03:35 PM Boy and I'm not even pregnant! you know that nesting thing. At least I don't think I am. That would be very funny. Took four bags to the thrift today and just hope I don't buy the stuff back. Two bags of books to the library. While sorting the books I found four that I don't think I have read yet, that was pretty exciting. I'm ok now. Now you guys should really come by for the attic cleaning, I know a whole lot of stuff will be going to a new home, it would help me a lot then I wouldn't have to cart it away. Its not easy going up and down the stairs with all these bags and boxes when you are pregnant. Oh thats right, its just old age, the two are so much alike I forgot. Anyway I did post a couple of pictures. NANCY JO

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 07:34:09 AM I can see where the four grand daughters thing would make you have to lay down. What to save? And who to save it for? Mercy. Just do a Scarlett O'Hara and 'don't think about that today, think about that tomorrow'! :D

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 07:27:31 AM The books are ones I didn't care that much for, I only kept my favorites. You are probably right about the jewelry, that will only confuse me to start looking through it. The hardest things for me to give up are things that were in my family. But for example how many pretty red dessert dishes do you need, and how many pretty wine glasses.etc. I also keep in mind my four Grand daughters. I need to lay down now.

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 06:32:19 AM What's the hardest thing for you to give up? I think it would be books for me. Although, looking at that great bunch of jewelry, I think I'd sort through it and hold it up and look at and think of something I could possibly do with each and every piece and then just lay it all back down. ;)

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 06:01:25 AM Wouldn't that be just too funny if you at the thrift and saw these cute items and bought them----only to find out you already had them. hahahahaha....Oh go lay down. LOL MB

Posted - Feb 24 2009 : 4:15:17 PM Oh Nancy, I am so tired of sorting and de-weeding and throwing out !! Will I ever see the end of it???? I just don't know why I brought so much of the material I did some yards and yards. Some of it I don't know what possessed me at the moment that I brought them, Ha. I am learning however to buy material only as I need it and not to go hog wild over one piece I love. I have so many theme fabrics with nothing to go with it. Ha. Maybe one day I will make a ugly quilt Ha. hugs Sheila
