Posted - Feb 26 2009 : 04:18:53 AM Melody....hair color...because Debbie said she's going grey due to driving with her kids.... LOL. Mine is red, quickly fading to white. Hard to find my red in a bottle... Maybe I'll just have to get out the peroxide and go all the way white this summer. Hmmmmmm. |

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 4:18:21 PM Hi Melody!
I tried to comment on your blog page a few times but it never shows a verification word and won't let me send! Glad I saw this post. Yes, she's very pretty! I was wondering what lurked behind the KISS get-up!

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 4:00:51 PM My youngest just got his official driver's license a couple of weeks ago. When his older brother got his license 10 years ago, my hair started turning gray..so I guess this means my hair will finish turning gray now!!! I don't worry about Ian's driving, he's very careful...it's all the other idiots that got their licenses from JC Penney that I worry about! Debbie

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 2:04:32 PM When does that sick feeling in your stomach go away? She drives off and I think OMG....bunch of crazy drivers out there.
I insist she keep her cell phone with her, but we said if we ever find out that she is talking and driving the car gets PARKED!

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 1:48:21 PM Melody, I have a 16 yr old on the road too. He's cute, but he drives too fast for me. My imaginary brakes are on the whole time! Yours and mine would make a cute couple! LOL

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 12:18:56 PM Oh wow! They do group up so fast! Nora is coming up on her 2nd birthday and I keep thinking "If this is as fast as each year is going to go- she is going to be out of the house before I have a chance to catch my breath!"

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 11:54:47 AM I'm teaching my baby sister to drive. Just went out on the road for the first time last weekend. She's actually a pretty good driver! Much less panicky than I was...plus she's always had a good head for directions. Our parents didn't teach any of us to drive. Too scared, I guess. |

Posted - Feb 25 2009 : 11:28:32 AM I will soon experience this with my grandson, who is now 15! It will be weird to look over and see him driving but it will be nice to have him drive himself out to see me, that is, if he ever wants to take the time now that he will have wheels!

Posted - Feb 24 2009 : 4:24:32 PM Wow Melody, she is beautiful! I remember when my first kid reached 16 and got his drivers licence. My MIL tried to tell be my problems were just beginning. I didn't agree with her. I thought it was time for some one else to do the running. He ran errands, picked up and delivered his brother and sister to their events. It was great. He is 51 now, his brother and sister are 50 and 49. Had our ups and downs with fender benders and speeding tickets but all went pretty good. Enjoy your beautiful daughter, she will be 49 before you know it. |
