Well last night I was working on my computer and it was fine. Well not fine really- the screen has been having issues for a while and itis missing several keys. It is slow and very very outdated. But it worked and that was what I had so I coped. Well this morning I knew it was running and functioning and all, but no screen response. I could get some pink vertical lines and a grey screen, but nothing that I could even remotely begin to use.
We do have a second computer in the house, but unfortunatly it has a REALLY NASTY virus on it. It is pretty much unusable until we can get it reformatted.
So after a little discussion, Doug went and bought me a new laptop. It is very pretty. Brand new and very fast. I am still trying to get used to it. I hate having to re-find all my internet links though! NOT FUN. But I guess the new computer kind of makes up for that.
Guesss we will see!

I am excited as I am getting a laptop free through our phone company. They had a promo is I kept high speed internet and phone service with them 3 years. Well #1 we have not choice where we live for service and don't always get reliable cell here so not problem. It will be one of those Dell Inspirion Mini 9 or something like that but will be fun to sit on couch and write and see what other farmgirls are up too :-)
I am always looking for the free item with stuff, and only get stuff that I need to get it so not a waste but free is great :-)
