For me, it is clowns and miniature animals. Clowns for obvious reasons, they are just creepy, but I am not sure why mini animals bother me so much, especially miniature horses. But, I love mini donkeys! Makes no sense....

I thought it would be interesting to see if I am the only one that gets a little freaked out by odd things. Hopefully not!

I am sorry ladies and farm gents, but just seeing some of our fears sends me into ROFL, some are creepy, some can relate, some are God given, hairy food is just funny, dirty hands/toliets/dishes/kitchens/etc, yes that is willy making. I have a suppressed immune system, and those things are deadly. When did we quit teaching health? And the snake, spider, wild animals, etc, those protect us. Velvet and newspaper, and ok, popsicle sticks just give me the heebee jeebees.but if we can see the humor in our fears, and save the real terror for those things that are dangerous or hurt our spirts, or others hearts, judytwoshoes

Spiders and snakes do it for me. One of my DD hates clowns. I always thought that was odd until now, of course...lol. And my DIL gets the willies from cotton balls. I know somebody else on here said that. Wait until I tell her she's not alone.

It's not about being perfect, but enjoying what you do. Set aside time to be creative.

I have this thing about people watching me in my house through the window. At night I am always running around closing curtains. I think my Dad ued to scare the willies out of us by just standing and looking in the window. We would be talking and doing the dishes and then WHAM, you would scream and do your kind of like the snake dance. Good thing we all have strong hearts. judytwoshoes

People using the toilet and not washing their hands...and I mean using soap and washing, not running your hands quickly under water. Using the public ladies' room and the previous user not wiping off the seat. Nasty!

Well As far as make up clowns go I will agree and so will my son (the children entertainer magician) He went to school in Germany while in the Army and learned clowning . He was feeling the same way about the make up, He does not use make up just silly actions. He has perfected his skill and does fabulous magic tricks.. His antics are awesome and he loves to make children laugh. His website is http://www.dennismichaelmagic.com/ I Am sure he wont scare you.. He is more of an high energy entertainer..and children & adults love him..Go ahead I dare you to check his act out..He is in Denver Colorado,.. Im bragging here I know...don't mean to offend anyone.

Alright...I've got another, and maybe it's just I'm a bit sensitive to this, getting ready to be a mom and all...but people who change baby's diapers just any ole' place. I think children deserve privacy, too, and you never know what kindof creep is around. Once, I was waiting to have my order taken at one of my favorite lunch spots, and this women who was with her mom, just stood up, put this little girl down on the booth, changed her diaper right there for God, me and every man to see, redressed her, and continued to eat---and then paid her bill, all without washing her hands or using hand sanitizer.
I was soooo grossed out watching all the "germs" transfer that when the server forgot I was there, I used it as an excuse to get up and out!!!

When I lived in the desert, there were nightly visitors that would crawl across the carpeting. The worst was when one crawled across my hand when i was laying down napping watching t.v.

it grossed me out so badly i jumped up and did a "got the willies dance" right there

Nothing much in nature frightens me or really gives me the creeps ........ except for the news media.. That has to take the cake for irresponsible scare tactics! UGGGGGGGGG!!!! Bring on the snakes, spiders, sharks, but get the news media AWAY from me!!

Me too! I hate Maggots! I hate it when they show a "decomposing" body on CSI, and they show maggots by the body. ICK! Also when someone scratches their fingernail on a chalkboard. It creeps me out! Awful sound!

I hate clowns too. I think it stems from the fact that my babysitter made me watch Stephen Kings IT when I was 9.

Lily, I'm going to be watching for that.

Mary Jane...you are kidding, right? I mean, they can't really climb, can they? I'm getting all creeped out just at the thought that they could reach me and run across my feet! ahhhhhhhh

Ok, gotta move on so I can sit still here. I'm the same about the hair/hairbrush/hairband/hat on the table; or ANYWHERE in the kitchen, for that matter. And for cryin' out loud, don't brush the dog in the kitchen, either! Ick

Good Morning FarmGals! So guess what happened...

When the mail came Thursday, the Mail Lady brought a small box to our door step. DH brought it in and set it on the kitchen counter. It was a box for my DH's 20yr old son. [Who still hasn't had his mail sent to his own address aat his apartment,... but that's ok]. I looked at the box myself and it was addressedd to Jake [DH's son] and the return address was somewhere in CA. OK no big deal right?!?! ......DH had called DS to let him know something arrived for him, he said he would come get it. Well, yesterday afternoon rolled around, DS called me to say he was coming to get it. I said ok. Then he said, "Whatever you do Jamie...DON'T OPEN IT!" Of course, I had to ask why? Then he told me....THE BOX WAS FULL OF LIVE COCKROACHES!!!!!! He bought them and had them shipped to feed to his lizards! I immediately picked up the box and shook it. Then I put my ear to it and listened, sure enough, there were bugs in the dang box! AND IT SAT ON THE KITCHEN COUNTER FOR A WHOLE DAY!!!!! UGH! YUCK EWWY GROSS!!!

Needless to say, the box when outside into the garage for the remainder of time it was at our house.....The whole ordeal made my skin crawl...COCKROACHES GIVE ME THE CREEPS!!!

In defense of preschoolers, many of them have great manners. I've only seen the full frontal hand wipe up the nose snot slider on sit-coms until this guy. Eeeeew! Talk about another reason to grow my own food!

Please don't lump mentally ill with abusers. It is different. But your creeps are your creeps.

People who still don't wash their hands creep me out! The guy stocking the shelves at the store with a cold, wiping his nose like a preschooler, come on? Hearing someone leave the bathroom without the sink running. gag. Makes me understand OCD, or agoraphobia a bit...where's my sanitizer? ick ick ick.

His other sister in law feels the same.

I can't stand a loose piece of hair on any surface....and especially in my food! I'll throw the food out and get rid of the surface hair as soon as possible. It makes me gag. Small spiders I don't mind, but wolf spiders that move fast are creepy. Have you every seen a picture of a 'camel' spider on the internet? I'm not sure if they're real or an urban legend, but they're from the Middle East and are huge! Much bigger than a tarantula with super long legs. Can you imagine being in a tent in the desert and having one of those things crawling in?? I would literally die on the spot!
