Posted - Feb 19 2009 : 1:28:23 PM Yes, I am in a "fun question" mood lol. I am watching a fun, uncomplicated movie on tv and that is what I was thinking about: WHAT is your top 3 (yes 3) list of fave movie genres? Name a title for every genre.
1) Romantic comedy. I am watching "How to loose a guy in 10 days" and it is just that, fun and uncomplicated. Can't say it is my fave, I like a lot of them esp with Matthew MacCounaghey (sp) or Sandra Bullock 2) True Stories. "In a child's name" with Valerie Bertinelli. I have seen this movie SO often and every time I watch it it grips me by the heart. It is about the murder of Theresa Taylor by her husband the dentist. 3)Disney Cartoons!! Yes I am still a kid at heart, lol. LOVE Bambi, and Cinderelli Cinderelli with the cute mice, SO sweet. Love most of them esp the older ones before computerization became the norm.
SO gals, try to come up with 3 of your faves??

Posted - Feb 20 2009 : 06:09:39 AM Lets see...3? This is WAY too hard!
Thriller/Crime: The Usual Suspects...has ALL of my favorite men in there, and what a great twist! Gabrielle Byrne...well, be still my heart; Also, A History of Violence with my OTHER man, Viggo Mortensen--whew!
Classics (lit): Sense and Sensibility, Wuthering Heights, Little Women, and Becoming Jane (though not a classic in the sense of being based on literature, it IS based on the life of writer, Jane Austen. This could also fall under "romance")
Arthouse/Indie films: The Motorcycle Diaries. UNBELIEVABLY beautiful film based on the life of Che Guevara before he became "Che". Gorgeous scenery, music and storyline; I also think Amelie is a wonderful film.
