Posted - Feb 17 2009 : 04:42:16 AM Yes, it's the first time I'm hosting a sleepover here at my house. My oldest is turning 11 this weekend and has invited 5 friends to spend the night. I'm needing some help in this area. 6 girls! ACCKK!
I'm trying to get some craft ideas together (late start - whole 'nother story)
- Picking up flip flops from Hobby Lobby and doing that tie on fleece thing.
- I have melt & pour soap. We can make soap. (They aren't girly girls but I thought they'd like to do this).
Any other ideas? Inexpensive, please. I'm sure they'll want to be hiding out, eating and talking most of the night. But for early evening I want to have a few things for them to do.
Thanks!

Posted - Feb 17 2009 : 07:00:15 AM Good luck, girl, that's all I can say--you are a brave lady!! My mom, bless her, really tried, but sooooo hated when I had sleep overs!!! Someone always got homesick or ate too much sugar and threw up in the middle of the night.
I think what you have is good...the soap will probably take a while, don't you think? I think it's a great idea, too. You could have them do some pillsbury slice and bake cookies, too. That's cheap, something fun (and not at all messy in your kitchen) and then they have something to munch on.
Other than that, I think you're right...they'll probably hang out and talk about secret stuff.
