I am addicted to Facebook. I blame my friend Katrina. It's all her fault. ;)

Anyway if you want to add me, search for Alee Reid!

Kay, if you haven't got a myfarm on your page, yet, go to any one of us who has it and you should find a link that says something to the effect of getting your own. I think you'll find it somewhere on the left side of all the postings. At least that's where I found it. Could be if any of us gifted you a plant or animal, you might be able to just accept it and have a farm automatically? Not sure about that one.

No worries, Marian. We'll wait for your computer to catch up!

Oh, Deborah, I just sent a friend request to you this morning (I think it was this morning - long day). I didn't really know who you were but, you were recommended by another farmgirl and that's good enough for me!

I am so loving myfarm. I just got a farmhouse, barn and woodshed this morning. I was so excited over that!

You have to go to the cash shop to buy the chicken coop and buildings. The only fencing is the one that comes with the coop, but they are going to be adding more things when they can afford new servers.

I just wanted to say "Thanks" for all the love you farmgirls have been sending my way on facebook, I do appreciate it. I just wanted to write a quick note here about all of the stuff I've been getting. I'm on slow dial-up and my online time per month is limited, so I can't really join in on the myfarm game, as it eats up too much time to load everything. I really do appreciate all of the cyber-gifts that have come my way, but I won't be playing the myfarm and wanted to let all of you know so that you don't think I don't appreciate it (I do appreciate all of it!)... and by letting you know that I can't do the myfarm, you'll send your plants and animals to those who are playing and need the items! Please don't be offended, its just a time/money issue! We're on one income and the limited dial-up is one way we make things work! I'm sure you all can understand...
I am loving learning about all of you and seeing all the updates and photos! Farmgirl hugs!

I have spent so much time on facebook that my blog has been pretty much ignored for weeks.
I love seeing photos of my cousins kids whom I have not seen in years, back in touch with friends from my past, and getting to know people from church better...so it is time well spent!

I'm on Facebook as well, it's so addictive. I'm Stacy Stipes in DC.

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

Sue- for the myfarm app, people can send you trees and animals that would be on a farm or ranch. When you see the screen that looks like a big field of grass, you can click on a plow in the lower right hand corner to plow the ground. Then you go to the "store" and buy seeds to plant. Each seed takes a different amount of time to grow (1, 2, or 3 days) and buys/sells for different amounts. After the crop has grown, you click the button that looks like a reaper to harvest the crop.

So when someone sends you a "myfarm gift" click "accept" and it takes you to the gift section of your farm. From there you can click "my farm" and it will take you to the interface area.

OOOOHHH! I am so glad to see that others are loving Facebook, too! I was feeling a bit guilty the other day because I am on there so much. Not for long in one sitting, but I check it often. I am Toni Overturff Lovelady on there. Now I am gonna go see if I can find some of you gals! So if you get a friend request from an odd girl in Indiana, it's me!

Okay, I got the requests/confirmations/gifts, but I'm not sure what to do with the gifts, so you will all have to be patient with me until I figure it out. I have an aquarium or something now and fish as gifts. I haven't started my farm yet but hope to soon. I had 3 requests for an interview...I did one which asked me like 100 questions. I put that on my profile so do I "ignore" the other 2 requests??

It's fun, but takes a while to learn it all, at least for me.
It's great seeing everyone!!
