I thought I should go today since I was out anyway. suspose to get up to two feet of snow tonight and tomorrow. Not pretty good.
Anyway got some nice things at the thrift. A really cute piece of Bennington pottery. I looked them up online, boy they got a lot of pretty things. Probably wasn't a good idea for me to do that.So I posted a picture for your veiwing pleasure.

Great finds. I like your Katie Brown book in the background too. I heard her speak at a retreat on Mackinaw Island this past fall. It was fun to hear her story. Her mother coordinates a Winsome Women retreat every spring and fall (for the past 30 or 35 years). It is held at the Grand Hotel which is a treat in itself. Anyhow, this fall was the first time for Katie to be a guest speaker. She was very entertaining and made quite a few family jokes especially because her dad was in the audience among all women.

I'd say it was a Very good day! Of course, any day a person gets to a thrift store is a good day. ;)

Nancy, I would love to go to your thrift store, you always get such great treasures! I guess either I don't go at the right time or ours just doesn't have very good stuff:)

Take care, Melissa.
