I am just a lil sad today and trying to keep a positive attitude. I have some bills paid off which is a positive note. I have a big CC bill but chipping away, I just need some encouragement ladies. I know alot of us are struggling and just keeping our head above water. xox

I didn't add the rest of my situation. The bf is amazing. He is all that I ever wanted, but from India aka on a work visa and so he has 30-60 days before being shipped out. It's bad enough being broke but losing the one you love (this always has happened to me my whole life with people leaving me) puts the frosting on top. Thank goodness I have you all. Other people wanted to talk and I just didn't feel like talking about it but you gals I feel comfort in and like we're all sisters aunts grandmas and cousins on here. I'm trying to think of things I could make to make some extra $. Thanks for the encouragement and knowing we aren't alone. I knew I wasnt! Just wanted to talk. Thank you all xoxox

Sorry to hear your news Bridget. My family has been dealing with the same thing for a year now, so I understand where you are coming from. Have him apply for unemployment as quickly as he can. That & my job is helping us stay above water. The same day I found out my job was surplused, my DH was laid off. I was working mandatory ot for over a year, 2 hrs a day. I thought that was secure, but they sent our work up north. Come to find out now they're moving it back & I prob wont be able to get that job back. I work for a union co. & its in our contract that they have to find a job for us as local as possible. (Thank God for that or we both would've been w/o a job!!) I still have a job in the co., though its a downgrade & $600 less a month. I at least still have a job & benefits. We've cut back on a lot of things. Having your bills paid off is a good start & will help you.

My DH was always calm about it (this is the second time to happen to him)... would say that, that door had closed & God is opening another to something better. I was the one who would stress about how we would pay for everything. I still get those feelings, but we just work through it & most places understand as so many are dealing with the same. Take care & know things will get better. If you need anything we are here, you can email me also if you like.

My DH went from 15 per hour to 8. which will not pay our bills. I'm closing my store to sell online from home and probably getting a job waitressing.
Times like these are the ones you look back on and can be proud for getting through.
We're all going through tough times, and with the encouragement from all the girls on here, we will all make it through.
