Ok, I think I gotta stay away from you gals!!!
I had a dream the other night that I was in some type of old general store looking around with my mom.
There were a bunch of Amish folks their also. I was looking about and peeked thru a back door and I seen a big barn and some lady’s sitting inside. For some reason, I started walking back there and then it hit me!! It was the Farmgirls, I took off in a run!!
When I got there you all asked me my name and we hugged and chatted and it was awesome. (Some of you appeared to be working on MailArt) Then I woke up (Bummer) I would have liked to stay there forever!!!

Is it a sign that I am reading the connection and my MJF book to much?? Should I seek therapy

If I could stay asleep long enough, I might have a fun farmgirl dream.

I rarely remember my dreams, just some really odd ones, but I used to have a reoccuring dream. In my real life, when I was a teenager, I worked at a corn cannery. I worked on the husking machine. A belt overhead filled a bin with the ears of corn which was over my head and to one side. I reached up with one hand, grabbed an ear of corn and laid the ear on the husker. With the other hand I adjusted it to go thru the knives and the roller. It was a very boring job, but you had to stay alert so as not to get your hand in the knives. I worked at night, and it was a cold and wet job. Corn smells pretty good, for the first few days, but after that, not so good, and I was always covered with itchy corn stuff. Anyway, I used to dream about husking corn, except that the ears of corn would turn into big fish, and that wasn't cool at all. I would wake up just disgusted. yuk Now what would a dream like that mean?

Greetings from the morning side of the hill.

Catherine, I've had that same locker combination dream many times. I also dream I'm in high school and can't remember my schedule and don't know which class I'm supposed to be going to. Do you ever get the telephone dream. You're trying to make a call and just can't get your fingers to hit the right numbers, so you have to start over and over several times and still don't get it right. I usually wake up before I'm able to dial the right number. I once flew a motorcycle over my Mom's house, that was kind of fun!

I remember reading somewhere that it means we're afraid of being unprepared. I have that one from time to time, too. I also dream that I've signed up for a bunch of classes, skipped a bunch until right before finals, and have to go take finals on subjects I know nothing about. Then I panic and wonder, how could I have blown that off?

Horrible dream.

But I see nothing unusual about wanting to get together with people with which you pass your time of day like we do on this board. I moderate a horse board, and we're all getting together next June in Kansas to trail ride at a state park. People will be coming from all over the US and even Canada. It should be a blast. Perhaps something like that could happen here.

I have that one too, Catherine!! Wonder what it means.....feeling out of control probably.

No, Bridgette, don't stay away....it wouldn't be as much fun. I giggled and laughed but then I was drop mouthed to see poor Jenny dreaming about washing dishes....nightmare!! I usually dream that I can fly like Peter Pan...doing the breast stroke and back stroke in the air.

Y'all know how Frannie's thread on birth certificate names has taken on an insightful flare with Patricia's "readings".....Well, I wonder if there are any Daniels or Josephs in our bunch (ya'know...from the Old Testament, they could interpret dreams)

I want to know what it means when I have this dream over and over again....I'm in high school, I walk up to my locker and can't remember my combination. So stupid! I want a different dream.

Blessings!
Catherine

That is so weird. I actually dreamt of Aunt Jenny last night. Of coarse we have never met, but seeing your pictures etc, makes me feel like I know you. It had something to do with cooking and you were there showing me how to do it right. It was short, but it was defintly you, then I had to go and dream about work - ugh.

That cracks me up! How fun! I want a dream like that. Wouldn't be wonderful if we could all be at the same place for a shindig? Maybe in farmgirl heaven. Julia V.

What a fun dream!!! I usually dream of things I do that are repetitive...like washing dishes over and over...or picking things up over and over, pitchforking hay...over and over. It was worse when I was a waitress...I dreamt I worked all night long. Every once in awhile I have a fun journey in a dream and I love that.
I think yours is a sign that you are happy here and need to be here just as much as always..haha
