I have been sitting here thinking, how much I am enjoying the friendships I have found here at Mary Janes. I think each one of us can agree, that in some way or another, we are drawn to MaryJanes not so much for what we can get from it or give to it, but the kindred hearts that are here. For myself, I look forward to looking into the lives of each of the women who share.
For me, it is the women like Alee, who shares of her journeys as a new Mom; how she is growing and is enjoying every thing about her beautiful daughter,Nora. It is women like Dutchy whose vibrant personalities shine out in her posts as she proudly hails the title "Princess of Pink." Women like Nancy Jo who reminds me of the Proverbs 31 woman; she tendeth to the things of her household and her hands never eat the bread of idlenss. Carol Sue comes to mind with these woman. She is always a willing ear I know I can lean on and trust there is knowing that no matter how piddling what I want to talk about may be, she is always excited for me or mad for me, or just the right whatever I need her to be. Then there's Linda, a rose, whose quiet strength that is felt even when she isn't posting. Miss Wilma who seems like the perfect Mother Hen for all of us and Lainey who shows us there is courage to be had and joy to be found even when what we are facing may be tougher than we know it is in us to take on. There are so many more women who I have come across and am getting to know that I can not help but be thankful that God has brought you all across my path.
I have had some major changes throughout the passed couple of years, and I am amazed of the friends and girls that are keeping up with me. You all will never know how much your cards and notes and email have meant and do mean to me.
Even today, I got the most wonderful card from Cheryl K-Falls Farmgirl with the cutest cows and things on it. She said that she was thinking of me.
In the world we live in, this a novelty. This kindredship, this sisterhood, that we all find here at MaryJanes and I for one, can not help but be thankful for you all!
Hugs!!

Jessie

Jessie, you are the sweetest! You know there are many times I come here to the forums and someone will say just the perfect thing for something I've been going through or experiencing. It really makes my day. I've learned so much from you all and it feels like family here to me.

Hugs!!

I feel the same way. And you are a sweet sensitive person who is always there for so many of the farmgirls, too. It's nice to have so many friends.
