You can take the farmer's daughter off the farm but you can't take the farm out of the farmer's daughter!!

Posted - Jan 11 2009 : 09:05:25 AM I have washed handwashed sweaters in conditioner too:) AH I forget about the shelters and nursing homes, thank you! DUH! I just was curious if they might be like well this is open or looks like you used it. I am always leary cause of laws that are wonky.

I also use cheap shampoo to wash my sweaters and you can use conditioner to stretch out sweaters that have shrunk.I don't know how many sweaters you have to wear in Texas. |

Posted - Jan 11 2009 : 08:57:33 AM The nursing home idea sounds often. I know a lot of time, the ladies there would love something to make them feel pretty and young. Sometimes, they are there because they have no family or their family is too busy. What a sweet idea to perk them up..lol I am just in awe of this thought. Isn't it funny how such little things that seem simple to some people blow other people away..LOL hugs

I have donated stuff like that to the local family center. They serve women and children that are in transition or impoverished. |
