Posted - Jan 04 2009 : 1:44:03 PM Posted a picture of a cute little needle work I'm working on, and hope I don't ruin it when I tea stain it later. Having a pot roast for dinner, the house smells like Sunday Dinner. Someone on the site said the book "LAND OF MILK AND OMELETTES",is a good and funny read, so thought I would start that tonight. Guess It's about a city couple that buys a farm..

Hope begins in the dark, the stubborn hope that if you just show up and try to do the right thing, the dawn will come. You wait and watch and work You don't give up.

Posted - Jan 04 2009 : 4:00:36 PM OK Jan, when I get it all done I will show a picture. Or tell you don't do it! We shall see. I have tea stained muslin colored things and they came out real nice.

Posted - Jan 04 2009 : 3:20:35 PM What a fun picture. Let me know how the tea stain works out. I have a rather large cross stitch picture that I did years and years ago on a white fabric. I'm thinking of tea staining it but I don't want to mess it up 'cause it was a LOT of work and took many hours. But I don't like the white background anymore and would like to "prim" it up a bit. |
