I just heard this and I love it!

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass....
It's about learning to dance in the rain.....

yarnmamma...I used to tell my kids when they were young to catch their tears and put them in their pockets for some other time. I don't know what you're going through...but keep putting one foot in front of the other and as long as you're breathing there is still time to deal with it and make it better!....I'll say a prayer for you tonight, my farmgirl sister....

Didn't Garth Brooks have a song that goes something like "The Dance"...theme being even with the heartache he wouldn't have missed the dance, or the whole relationship was worth it all in the long run...
hmmmm I bet you farmgirls can remember the words.
You saying makes me think of that song.

Right now for me life is sad and I am unhappy....but I have to believe that someday it will get better or at least I'll learn to live with this but right now it's just very painful and I feel trapped.
I spend my days lately trying to analyze and deal but I just want to cry.

Another one of my favorite sayings is live “Sing like no one's listening, love like you've never been hurt, dance like nobody's watching, and live like its heaven on earth.”

I love that! Recently while in the midst of several storms, my husband and I did just that. We did a few great things to feed our spirits - like setting in the woods by the fire pit and drinking in the beautiful stars or enjoy a great bottle of red wine with some delicious dark chocolate. Those few moments kept us going and kept us sane. So i say DANCE ON DUDE

Peace to you,
Tamara

Yes a true favorite! Thanks for reminding me! It's so true. I think also with our media trying to scare us it's important to look at the things we have and are grateful for and how amazing life is :) xoxo

There is a girl here who makes beautiful wall hangings using old cabinet doors and she makes kids using old hardware that actually move with that curly wire stuff for hair. So I got her to make one for a friend using that exact saying. She etched the words and all the i's are raindrops and the little girl is dancing in a puddle with rain falling. I wish I could post a picture. It's just beautiful. My friend's DD has been through so much in her short life with cancer and is still having some problems. Then her husband just had back surgery. In the middle of having a new home built, too, that they are doing most of the work on. So this is their house warming gift.
